A Little Behind...

Not much to report. Besides this sinus issue/cold I am fighting at this moment, I have been feeling well. I am feeling Madeleine move quite a bit inside of me. Some days I feel her more than others. She seems to really like orange juice and also pineapple juice because she goes crazy right after I drink it. One day I had just gotten finished drinking a cup of each, and my belly felt like I was on a roller coaster. It is so amazing! Nick was actually able to feel her move last night. That was really cool!
I go for another doctor's appointment next Thursday. I am assuming she will go over the results from the "20-week" ultrasound. I am guessing that everything was alright because I have never heard anything, and my doctor always says she will call if anything was wrong.

Well, I'll leave you with some photos....

18 weeks-

Please excuse the way I look...early in the morning and on my way to work.

Close-up

This picture was taken at my friend Jen's Bachelorette party. I met Jen on the peds floor where we use to work, and she is now marrying my brother-in-law Travis. She had her B-party had this place called Xpose (chair and pole dancing). Yum, yeah, that was very interesting! She was the only one out of all of us that knew what she was doing. Needless to say, the rest of us just cracked up the whole time! I was 19-weeks in this photo.

20 weeks-

Thought this was a cool picture!

One more.....
Milo
It just cracks us up when we see him laying with his paws crosses like this. He does it quite often.

16 Weeks

I am 16 weeks today, and so far, so good. I had blood drawn earlier today for the maternal serum screen and also to check my platelets. When I went to my primary care doctor last year, she discovered that I had low platelets. I had three blood draws within a 3 month time span, and my platelets ranged fron 120 to 149. Normal starts at 150. Most people's platelet count is in the 200 to 300's. When I had my blood drawn at my first ob visit, my count was 156 (normal, but low-normal). So, I guess she wants to watch that.
I am feeling pretty good...just really tired in the late afternoon to early evening. I think work wipes me out. I joined the gym. It is so hard to get motivated to workout! It is so weird going to the gym and looking at everyone getting into shape! In my head, I am thinking here are these people working out to loose weight and/or tone up, and I am working out knowing that I will only be putting on weight over the next 5 months (for a good reason, obviously). I am trying to tone up my legs and butt, though.
I guess that is about it. Here are pics of me at 16 weeks (the quality sucks cuz I took them myself).....

Here is a pic of my sweet Milo. He went to doggy daycare today and is now knocked out. Doggy daycare is a great way to wear him out!
